Big Picture Learning, an international organization with over 75 schools in ten countries (and growing!), has announced its selection of Ryan Rivera as its Alumni of the Year! As a graduate of El Centro de Estudiantes, Ryan has taken it upon himself to organize and educate scores of Philadelphia youth in the years since his graduation.

After graduating from el Centro in March 2016, Ryan has steadily climbed the professional ladder through hard work, guile, and an unusual tenacity. Now the personal assistant to Judge Rayford Means, who had been his mentor in his last year in high school, Ryan also organizes forums that open dialogues between police officers and Philadelphia youth.
